Pages of You

One slow hour, live on Google Meet, for the week you just had. We hold long, quiet yin shapes, then pick up a pen and write what the body has been carrying. No performing. No fixing. Just you and a blank page.

How the hour flows

Move slowly. Then write.

ArriveSettle in with breath and a gentle check-in. Notice how you actually feel today.
YinLong, supported holds. Stay with sensation and let your nervous system soften.
WriteA guided journalling prompt. Write without editing and without being read.
CloseA short meditation to land. Share a line if you want to, or keep it private.

A taste of the prompts

Questions worth sitting with.

"What did I carry this week that wasn't mine?"

"What is my body asking for that I keep postponing?"

"Where did I show up for myself, even a little?"

"What would I say to the girl who got through the hardest day?"

Why journalling

Your mind changes when you meet it on paper.

Slowing the body and naming what you feel helps many people calm down and make sense of what's going on inside. As a counseling psychologist, I've seen how much shifts when thoughts stop looping in the head and land on a page. You never have to share what you write.

All levels No journalling experience needed Props: bolster or pillows, blanket, notebook, pen
